New Pioneer's Handbook - Summoners

In recent times, several interesting summoner class npcs have appeared in Granado Espada. These summoners are not like Catherine who can conjure up a whole gang of mediocre dolls. Summoners like Cheryln (Golums of Fire and Ice), Viki (Autobaron) and Rose Spirit, are bringing summons to a whole new level. With top grade equipment, their summons are ... overwhelming. These summons have very high AR/DR, absorbs a lot of damage and possess an arsenal of skills.

However, due to a lack of control, they can only be used effectively in limited ways,
i) protection for a firebase
ii) tanking (yes.. unorthodox but.. its possible)
iii) farming (esp in maps where mobs are swarming over you like Red Sunset Forest, Scar, Resistance Hideout)
iv) guarding the colony tower ???

Summoners are now a force to be reckoned with. No joke... just imagine a whole gang of vikis summoning up dozens of autobarons....
